I'm going to lose 100 lbs

Well, I've given up on the idea that I can pastor a church, be a good husband, or get a good night's sleep (I have a feeling the inability to do the last is currently coloring my view on the first two), so I've decided I might as well take on one other big task I know I can never do - lose 100 pounds.

The good news is that all the other things happen because of God's grace, even 'though I personally suck at them. So, I'm gonna count on him for this too (and, perhaps, even more so) - especially since I think the whole "lose 100 pounds thing" just might be his idea as a testimony to what he can do.

So, expect some good seratonin-management steps, along with increased exercise, and a whole lot more fluids and even less carbohydrates and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

A little slower, but still moving...

Between several weeks of being sick (which kept me from exercise) and a lot of busyness which has kept me away from my normal food routine (plus, admittedly, some giving in to temptations), things have slowed down a little.

However, I'm still down a total of 37 pounds and looking forward to getting back on track - especially as the weather around here gets nicer.

Please keep me in your prayers!

Update #2

I'm down 31 pounds.
Praise God!

An update...

An update...
I've lost about 15 pounds, I'm getting regular exercise, and (get this) my wife and I walked a half-marathon (13 miles!) last Thursday.
Please keep me in prayer to maintain a God-glorifying diet and exercise regime. Thanks!

I used to do karate about 10 years ago and decided to join again last month. I'm loving it! If you join you can def. count on getting your cardio workout! Just an idea.
